The Oregon Festival of Cars has been a hugely successful event, recognized by many as their favorite car event of the year. In 2013 the Oregon Festival of Cars was first held at the beautiful Broken Top Club golf course in Bend. 2018 found us in a fun new location: Deschutes Historical Museum, 129 NW Idaho, between Bond and Wall at the south end of downtown Bend, and we are back again in 2022.
Our Unique Atmosphere
Started 26 years ago as the Sunriver Exotic Car Show, this has become a must-do annual event for an increasing number of car enthusiasts. Hundreds of enthusiast cars are expected to participate in this fantastic event. During its 26-year history, this event has developed a unique atmosphere of being relaxed and fun with participants being able to get to know other like-minded enthusiasts.
The group drive from the Portland area will again start at the Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo facility at 9:00 am.
Kick the dirt off your wheels and grab a beer — join us for the annual Beer Wash, starting at 2:00 pm at the Residence Inn (500 SW Bond St., Bend), with beer hosted by Crux Fermentation Project. Registration/check-in will be from 5 pm – 6:30 pm at Crux Fermentation Project.
The site will be the Deschutes Historical Museum, 129 NW Idaho, between Bond and Wall at the south end of downtown Bend. It’s a pretty site (check it out online), but space is limited. The first 50 or so cars will be parked on the grass. Parking will be from 8:30 – 9:30 am. The rest of the group will be parked on contiguous asphalt. Being downtown will give you easy access to coffee shops and restaurants and shopping.
The Festival BBQ
We have a new dinner experience this year — a real Tennessee BBQ! Our friends at Crux Fermentation Project are providing the venue, in their large tent on the Crux brewery site (50 SW Division Street, Bend, OR 97702, ph: 541-385-3333). It’s a real Tennessee BBQ because the Crux chef comes from Tennessee and loves to barbeque. So expect a casual dinner with great food and beer, and the usual Festival presentations that always leave you with something to remember.
The Sunday Dash
The Sunday Dash and Lunch will be another nice tour headed up by Tim and Kim Morris owners of German Mastertech. They always do a wonderful job.
The Festival has regularly provided substantial support to Central Oregon charities. Our 2023 beneficiary is The Deschutes Historical Museum.
